I think he means the latter case. This is a good way to get affordable
stereo projection based on polarization. I plan to integrate
multi-display support (Equalizer) into the GUI, with a few predefined
configuration files for common use cases such as this.

This is now in the bugtracker. I added a comment to this issue: I think
this should be part of a general on-screen-display solution (see the bug
tracker entry).

Hmm, I'm not sure I agree with this one. I never understood why every
program has its own volume adjustment, all different: the system's audio
mixer should be used for this, shouldn't it?

Ugh, this comes dangerously close to fixing broken videos, which may be
beyond the scope of a video player... however, I added it to the bugtracker.

I don't understand this one. When would this be useful?
