Details:
The notes, or "project notes", may have to be reviewed.
Presently all notes are stored in one database. This makes it difficult to
share the notes with other users though a repository. If something were to be
shared, it should be stored in plain text. Or what could be done too is to
manually share the notes, that is, to export the notes to the repository, and
import anything that comes from that repository. That way the current big
database could be kept.
Another issue is that there is a desire to backup the notes together with the
project. This is possible with this database, that is true, but then we need
to make a partial backup, and restore would need to merge the notes with
existing ones.
It seems best, at this stage, to keep the notes in that database, and make
import / exports or backup / restore possible through extensions that
selectively extract the data from the database, and merge it to restore or
share.
