Greetings! Please try the following, and if this fails, post the
complete output:
rm -rf gcl
git clone git://git.sv.gnu.org/gcl.git
cd gcl/gcl
git checkout cygwin
./configure && make
If you have special configure switches you want to use, please post
those too.
