Camm,

If A is a list '(x y z) and I do (get A 'b), assoc used to return NIL.

Now (get A 'b) throws "Error: b is not of type LIST"

I grant you that (get A 'b) on the list A is meaningless 
but that's what the legacy Axiom code does.
