in general, silver will be ahead of gold so there will be differences. i used the PATCH49-50 directory so i could journal my changes. it isn't really necessary but i thought i'd share them so others could see where i made mistakes. the CHANGELOGs below the top level directory are probably unnecessary but don't hurt anything. my working method has been to catalog every change in the top level CHANGELOG. t
