The actual text is in src/doc/bookvol1.pamphlet.

Feel free to modify it and then do:

diff -Naur original new >new.patch

and send me the patch files. If you're interested enough and want
to write a longer chapter 1 or shorten the whitespace or improve
the indexing I'm happy for the help. Given enough input you could
end up with your name on the book.
