[Axiom-developer] debian stable bug?

Camm,

Tim (not me) tried to build axiom on debian STABLE.
Somewhere in the configure it tries to do a sed into conftest.subs

eventually it issues the failure

does not exist

Warning: Lisp directory '/usr/local/share/emacs/site-lisp' does not exist


doing a few 'mkdir -p /usr/local/share/emacs/....' eventually fixes the 
problem.
