Hi Bill.
Armed with a better understanding of Axiom I rebuilt with:
1. The release version of MSYS (1.10) - fixes make.exe crashes.
2. Latest MinGW runtime library 3.3.
3. Stopped using the GCL 2.6.2c2 stable CVS source tree.
4. Hand altered the Axiom GCL source tree with backported critical Windows
fixes.
5. Fixed some return value oversights caused by my hacking in the Axiom C
library.
6. Maximum number of files raised from 512 with "_setmaxstdio ( 2048 )" in
"o/main.c".
Unfortunately I still had to copy things by hand due to that earlier
reported seg-fault, but at least the build went a little more smoothly.
The regression tests ran with just under 40 seg faults during the run.
Cheers
Mike Thomas.
