It is, I'm pretty sure, because I've been running the very same chip on the very
same board under AVR Studio (on my XP box) with no issues.  I guess I forgot to
mention that.  :)

So, the command  line I used in my previous postings isn't the appropriate one
for merely loading a HEX program image into a chip that may or may not be
already fused for debugWIRE mode?  I guess I need to read the manpages more
carefully!
