Announcing WinAVR 20021209

WinAVR (pronounced "whenever") is a suite of executable, open source
software development tools for the Atmel AVR series of RISC
microprocessors hosted on the Windows platform.

Below is just a sample of what's new.

- New WinAVR Location
WinAVR has a new location now on SourceForge:
  http://sourceforge.net/projects/winavr
This should now be a more permanent home. You can download
  binaries and source separately.

- objtool Included
Jason Riffel's program objtool version 0.05 beta is now included.
This is an ELF to COFF file converter that works better than the
  deprecated elfcoff program.

- New devices supported
AVRLibC should now support ATmega32, ATmega64, ATmega8515, and
  ATmega8535.

- New experimental printf library
AVRLibC has a new experimental and extensive printf library.

- New EEPROM API
AVRLibC has a new EEPROM interface API. This includes the missing
  eeprom_read_block() function.

- Smaller binary installation file

- Sample makefile included

- Directions for compiling in Atmel's AVR Studio

For more information see the README.txt file that comes in the binary
installation.
