Hi.
In fact, the XMEGA A manual, page9, section 3.8 states that NOTHING is needed other than writing the SPL first (writing SPL disables interrupts for four cycles).
Wow!!!! Thanks for catch it! I wanted to see it in the new core and upset when not found.
In ATxmega A MANUAL revision A there was no information about disabing interrupts during writing the SP.
Eric, we are now to significantly reduce prologue/epilogue code for the Xmega devices.
