[avr-gcc-list] All distro maintainers: GCC 4.2.0 RC2 release needs testing

To All Distro Maintainers:

GCC 4.2.0 RC2 has been released:

There has been a bug report filed about the AVR not being able to be
bootstrapped:

PLEASE NOTE, that this bug report is for RTEMS which uses newlib, NOT
avr-libc.

4.2.0 RC2 needs to be tested by as many distro maintainers as possible, to
see if the AVR port is broken, or cannot be built.

Please send your comments to that bug report, to this list, and to the GCC
list if you so desire. If there are any problems, we need to inform the GCC
developers as soon as possible, and also to find a fix.
