Attached is revised patch for improved skips and loops. This includes suggested improvements. This now only skips 2 word instructions if interrupts are not used or the MCU type is enhanced/MEGA thus avoiding problems with older chips. (older chips still gain a little from this modification). I also pulled out code that was patch for PR18251 - so that this patch can be submitted independently in due course. Other than that the code is the same. Comments and definitions have been cleaned up. Bjoern - can you test this? It should be fine and passes all my tests - but you have a better set.
