Oh, I must have missed this.  Of course, that cannot work at all.

Yep, stupid idea, but we gotta live with that.

That's good to hear, and the more interesting, given that Ted Roth
never even tested DWARF-2 in GDB.  It would be interesting to know
whether all corner cases, like local variables in multiple stack
frames, function parameters (both in registers and on stack) etc. do
work, too.
