That's the problem with foreign languages, I will correct it.

Before I started to develop the scripts, I thought to make an rpm packages,
because rpm does the same as my scripts. But then I realized that there are
some systems which haven't rpm and there are some people who doesn't like
package systems like rpm.
This were the reasons to write scripts not rpm's.
I like rpm and if you have the spec file you should make it available, as you
have done it with the simulavr spec file.
As long as your gdb patch is not merged into the gdb cvs you need to patch the
official gdb 5.1 package, but that's no problem for rpm and the patch is
available on the net.
If you have space, you could provide also the rpm package. I am sure there are
some people who would be happy to load them without compiling.
