What are you using to send that byte? What program? Can you force a
flush of the buffer?
What I've discovered is that the BlueSMiRF can't handle a high rate
of data coming in and data going out if it's in "normal" mode (where
it's looking to parse AT commands). Once I put it into fast data
mode, where the parser is bypassed, it seemed to work fine.
