Berkeley Spice, about 10 or 15 years ago had a number of files with
names identical but for case. Wasn't a .c vs .C thing but more like
File.c vs FILE.c.
Many archive extraction utilities of the day when run on a
case-insensitive system would overwrite the first with the last on the
assumption the archive had been appended.
Discarding all the religious arguments, when I type an "A" I mean "A"
not "a". I expect the computer to do exactly what I tell it, not an
approximation.
