Sorry if I brought up this argument again.
I received Christina's message late, and I didn't look at its sending
date (my bad here), which definitely precedes the end of the discussion
on bug-autoconf. Also, I missed Ralf's finall decision stated on that
list (as it wasn't reported on automake-patches too). Add my strong
dislike for the gender-neutral-singular "their", and you can see why
I answered with a message that might seem bitter or polemic. That
was not my intention; I hope that's clear now.
Also, I'm fine with Ralf's decision to use the simplest gender-neutral
alternative, namely, speaking to and about "you", the user, or "you",
the developer.
