configure.lineno leftover?

Subject:	configure.lineno leftover?
Date:	Tue, 16 Jul 2002 02:50:59 -0400 (EDT)

I'm ending up with a file called '=build/configure.lineno' after 
'make distcheck' which of course causes the distcheck to fail.  This is
autoconf-2.53 and automake-1.6.2.  Any suggestions?
