Yes, I know, but if there is an installed version of auto* without gnu m4,
that error will be occured. Please consider, if you are not root on that
computer and AFAIK version of gnu is uncompilable on SCO UnixWare 7.

I think my suggestion is not too much to the ./configure become more
specific, and doesn't occur any problem (so run it without --version).
