It fails for the same reason as originally.

configure: creating ./config.status
config.status: creating tests/Makefile
gawk: ./confee7032/subs.awk:1: BEGIN {\r

config.status: error: could not create tests/Makefile

I let the testsuite run overnight, and it has completed, without any 
failures.
  393 tests were successful.
  3 tests were skipped.

This is 4) igncr enabled, with the most recent patch that I attached, 
autoconf-2.64-20080109-igncr.patch.

I guess that means that there are no other presently-exposed igncr 
problems.  The failures I was having before are probably those 
intermittent failures I mentioned earlier, because its the exact same 
build tree and environment, I think.
