Hello everybody,

The bank holiday has allowed me to flush my patch queue. So, how does
everyone else's look like?

There may be some more latency until all of the patches have found their
way into CVS (review and testing appreciated ;-), but it'd be nice to
focus on the next release then.

OK to call it beta release? OK to even say "if you don't find any bugs,
this will be identical to 2.60"? (I don't mind safe documentation
updates in between, such as the proposed new chapter, but "safe" means
we should ensure that they are tested with a couple of different texinfo
installations then.)

What bugs/patches have I missed? Do you think we should wait longer for
feedback from 2.59c instead?

(In any case, it may be a week or two until I will have time to do the
actual beta release process; or maybe not, no promises.)

Cheers,
Ralf
