Sorry Derek, but being granted write access to Autoconf does not give
you the right to apply patches without the approval of one of the
maintainers (Paul Eggert, Alexandre Duret-Lutz, and me are the most
"active").

I post-agree with this one.

Sorry. Having just started committing, I didn't know the process. I figured 24 hours without argument would be alright since changes could be backed out anyhow.
