That's a really strange problem. It doesn't sound like an Emacs or
AUCTeX problem but more like a colleague playing a trick on you. Is
that possible? I.e. you've been away from your computer without locking
it and someone placed you some very funny code running in some timer in
your .emacs (or somewhere else)?
