[AUCTeX] Install problem on WinXP/EmacsW32

Hi,

I am experiencing an installation problem on Windows XP with AucTeX CVS 
(and 11.83 alike).  The 'make' part of the installation fails with an 
error in byte-compiling tex-info.el, see the make output below.

The machine is running Windows XP SP2, the TeX distribution is W32TeX, 
the Emacs version is 22.0.50.1 of October from the Emacs/W32 
distribution (<http://ourcomments.org/Emacs/EmacsW32.html> or 
<http://www.emacswiki.org/cgi-bin/wiki/EmacsW32>).  This version of 
Emacs has a minor patch that allows to use the otherwise useless Windows 
keys as Meta and is packaged in an unusual way in that the 
Windows-specific files reside in an extra directory tree besides Emacs 
itself. This includes Gnuserv, some Lisp files and a wrapper script that 
passes its commandline arguments to Emacs proper (which I'm not using, 
and which I have to bypass manually for configure).
