Subject: | [AUCTeX] Clear up output buffers |

hello everyone,AucTeX creates a lot of temporary and output buffers when it compiles a file... is there a variable to automatically close _region_.tex and output buffers after successful compilation? failing that, doing it in a post-compile hook would be the perfect place to do this in .emacs... are there any such hooks?
i am currently experimenting with a mode for marking buffers as temporary and then it auto removes them when they are seen to be unused:
http://www.emacswiki.org/cgi-bin/wiki?TempbufModebut i am having trouble using it with AucTeX. all the output buffers seem to have the major mode LaTeX set. and if i run tempbuf for all LaTeX modes... that could get messy.
what are the hooks available to me regarding the output and temporary buffers?
it'd also be nice of AucTeX to close the master buffer if it opened it during a C-c C-b call.
