Hi Arash (cc auctex), I've personally only tested my patch on GNU/Linux. I'm pretty confident it works on macOS, but the issue is that sioyek does currently doesn't install a command line binary to any standard path on mac or windows as far as I can tell, so I think it's probably better off to let the user configure their own program-list entry. This small patch adds a configuration for calling sioyek to the built-in list. I originally wrote this for my own use, but it seems like sioyek is getting reasonably popular, so I thought that it may be useful to others. Thanks for the patch. IIUC Sioyek runs on Windows, macOS and GNU/Linux. Should these platforms also be considered in `TeX-view-program-list-builtin'? Best, Arash
