the DXCC count off on the bands where I have worked K9Wxx but not K9W.

The other somewhat recent 3 letter calls act the same, N8S, K5D...

Thanks for the more detailed description of the issue. I'll take a look in a day or so, see if I can reproduce the problem, and then work on a fix. It seems like I fixed something similar not too long ago.
