Is there a way to persuade the maintainer of the Fedora rpm version (rdieter) to compile this new version for Fedora 19 & 20  and upload them to Fedora for general use? (I'll download and compile the new version for myself)

XForms. The problem also may effect programs running under
other window managers like IceWM under still poorly under-
stood circumstances. If the new version also fixes this
still needs confirmation.

PS: I have entered the observed effect (strange XEvents
    arriving) in Gnome-Bugzilla, hopefully there will be
    some kind of response.
