I just got around to compiling and running your program (takes
a bit if time at the moment, it's so hot here;-) and, since I
run Ubuntu, couldn't reproduce the effect. And I thus have no
idea yet what could cause this. Unfortunately, I don't even
know whst the gnome-session manager is supposed to be doing,
so I can't be of any help at the moment (and I have no idea
if it's related to anything XForms is doing). At least thanks
to your digging I now know that I probably should run your
test program under a GNOME session, if I find anything I will
report back.
