lesser, minore
attuanuated, attenuata
weak, debole
library, libreria

As for the acronyms, the italian translation uses the English acronyms, GPL
and LGPL, like Spanish and French ones, and all the other languages as I see.

If it's me translating, I'd use the direct translation "Licenza Pubblica
Generale Minore" and the english expression next to it "(Lesser General Public
License, LGPL)", the first time in the text.
I'd like that in translations of names I'd read, simple and direct.

Attenuata is not a direct translation, but I don't see troubles with it,
anyway, you can judge by yourself.
