CVSROOT: /web/www
Module name: www
Changes by: Brett Smith <brett> 07/07/11 15:00:50

Modified files:
        licenses : license-list.html

Log message:
        Remove a few entries:

        * Guile is LGPLed, instead of GPL+exception.

        * Accordingly, the entry for Ada has to go too. I'm still not entirely
sure what its license is -- when I look at the Ada source, only a few
files in the examples/ tree seem to have any kind of exception to the
GPL. I will mail the maintainer to ask about this, but no matter what
the answer is, I don't see a particular need to document it on
license-list: it's not like we do that for Classpath, or the parts of
GCC
that have it, or anything else like that. It doesn't come up often
          either.

        * The Vita Nuova license is no longer in use. (I only noticed this by
trawling the CVS logs looking for clues about the Ada license. Dave
removed this entry a while ago, and then Karl added it back because it
was still on fsf.org. Heh, oops. :) )
