Follow-up Comment #4, patch #4395 (project wesnoth):
The code is perfectly fine. thread_manager is initialized correctly and
looking at your header problem, I'd say your compiler is the problem.
cmath/cstring are headers from libstdc++ and standard for many years now. If
you really need to get it working with such an ancient compiler, your best
hope is to maintain a patch. Removing the const locally won't hurt but it
makes no sense to to it in the CVS version because it is valid and supported
by real compilers. :-)
