Follow-up Comment #1:

If you still have crash, please try to run with electric fence, without
loading plugins (to check if core is crashing), for example (replace path to
electric fence if different for you):


LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libefence.so weechat-curses -p


Or try with plugins loaded (can take some time, according to CPU, because
electric-fence will slow down WeeChat a lot):


LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libefence.so weechat-curses


If you have a crash with one of these commands, then please send me the
backtrace with gdb.
