Details:

Infobar item "buffer_name" should display the server/channel/query in
different colour for established ssl connections.

irc.color.item_ssl_mode "green"
irc.look.item_ssl_mode "on"

and for monochrome or black/white display it should be marked:
irc.look.item_ssl_char "*"
