Follow-up Comment #3, bug #19999 (project weechat):

':' messages have different meaning which depends on messages.
Some commands allow :<mask> at beginning of command e.g.
:address@hidden INVITE Wiz #Dust
and some use it before last parameter which may contain spaces e.g.
KICK #Finnish John :Speaking English

I would prefer to remove ':' at all because WeeChat cannot guess where ':'
should be.
