[Web-trans] Volunteering to Translate pages on GNU.org - in Marathi language

[GNU Marathi Translator]

Hi,

I intend to translate the GNU.org pages into MARATHI (mr) language, a 
language spoken in Maharashtra state of India. As listed at the 
'Translations underway' list, currently there is no team for this 
language. Can you let me know how I can get started on this work ?

I've gone through 'Transation guide' page 
http://www.gnu.org/server/standards/README.translations.html , and have 
a couple of queries :

1. Regd : 'Tools to Help Translators' 
(http://www.gnu.org/server/standards/README.translations.html#TOC6A)
   Where is the ~www/html directory & the TAGS.<<language code>> files 
located ?
2. Can you give me the infrastructural details for uploading the 
translated files ?
