I'd love to continue, although I do agree on the points you are
mentioning. We could freeze up the project and wait for a while, maybe.
I've got no explicit yes or no answer for you, it depends on the rest.

I've started thinking about this because of a discussion I had and some
research work int the old IRC3 mailing list archives at the-project.org.
This is the question: would it really make sense to name the thing we're
working on "IRC3"?
Pro:
- lots of ideas taken from IRC
Con:
- there is no relaying involved, so at least the 'R' in IRC is wrong
- there are LOTS of changes compared to IRC2
- IRC2 and our work will probably be pretty incompatible
Anyone?
