Hi!
I've a mystic problem.
I upgraded my kernel to 2.4.18 and rebooted the server, and at this
point tpop3d fails to authenticate users...
config:
listen-address: 0.0.0.0
mailbox: bsd:/where/i/keep/my/users/$(user)
#append-domain: yes
auth-pam-enable: false
auth-mysql-enable: yes
auth-mysql-mail-group: group
auth-mysql-hostname: localhost
auth-mysql-database: database
auth-mysql-username: user
auth-mysql-password: pass
with this configuration, I can use mysql program to wipe out needed
information from mysql database, but
tpop3d only connects mysql, does _not_do_ any select-s.
I've used 1.3.5 and after playing with that, I've probed 1.4.1.
none of them works.
