Hi all,

Sorry for resending this to the dev list and even to some personal
mailing address. Seems that some of the servers of my mail provider are
in a black list:

Unknown address error 554-'<ironport3.cable.net.co[200.118.0.14]>:
Client host rejected: You are blacklisted'

But I need to make this message arrive to the proper readers.

Cheers,

Offray

Hi all,

I need to make an article style for publishing a TeXmacs writing in a
magazine. Unfortunately the person who is in charge of the Magazine gave
me the prototype of the articles (attached to this mail) just today and
I need to create this style for the monday. I promised her to try my
best, but I have never created an style in TeXmacs. Could you point me
quick docs for writing styles in a tutorial fashion (when I translated
the TeXmacs doc to spanish, long time ago, the document about styles
give some advice about reading other styles, but this is too try an
error oriented, so I would like more an tutorial example based information).

- From the attached articles seems that the style has:

 * two pages with one wider column. On the second one there is a small
column with information about the author
 * The rest of pages are with two columns.
 * There is a big lateral margin with information about publication,
(name of magazine, Volume and number) number of page for even pages and
name of the article for odd pages. Number page is in horizontal way,
other information is in vertical way (see the example).

As you see this is a real life problem solving based learning. I
translated most of the Spanish documentation for TeXmacs, but I forgot
almost all of the things that I never used from that time to now.
Translating even more that I needed was my way to say thanks to the
TeXmacs people/project, but because there was more information that I
needed at that point, most of it was not meaningful to me. Now I'm
interested in project/problem based learning an this article style seems
a nice place to start with.

I will be waiting for your advices and pointers.

Cheers and thanks for your help,

Offray
