I have been thinking on how to make usable outside of interactive
TeXmacs the switch environment.
I like to call it "frame", because it conveys to me the idea of a video
frame. But I disgress...
I have been making some slides, and now want to export to ps or print. I
cannot. One would propose to concatenate in different pages the slides
and then print. But that approach would leave apart the educational use
of switch (imagine a complicated mathematical expression which turns
into a low-dimensional example when you hit M-A-right). So what is
needed IMHO is two "unroll" commands that make the (possible) tree of
switches into switches into a sequence and offer to insert intermediary
page breaks. That way you could do a global unroll for the sequential
media. This would be useful for the two use cases I have in mind:
1) slides.
2) educational innovation.
Is this doable in scheme?
I attach now my slides because I have a funny behaviour with TM ..1.5
when creating a new document and trying to insert \copyleft. In general
TeXmacs has been much more prone to crashes when this document was
loaded.
Fatal error: lost sync in pk file (character too big / status = 6 in
'load_pk'.
See file: 'load-pk.gen.cc
have fun, álv.
