I just tried, and though it fixes the japanese case, it breaks many other
test cases. I have done some fixes for some issues (with latin1
characters), but I don't know how to fix it completly.
So I give up for now, since anyway the whole internationalization
stuff should be redone and hopefully this shouldn't be an issue with
a gettext like framework.
