if reported it here: http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/swftools-common/2009-07/msg00085.html there is a thread concerning this: http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/swftools-common/2008-12/msg00072.htmlit doesn't happen with all pdfs, i think only with the ones using null characters as spaces. adobe products treats them like spaces, but xpdf doesn't. i wrote to derek (mr. xpdf) if he could fix this but didn't get an answer.
i doen't know anything about c-coding, is anyone here who is smart enough to do this?

SWFs are tightly compressed, which means that everything that's not needed for display is removed- and since space chars are invisible, they're a likely candidate. Matthias
