I think Matthias stated recently that he only had intermittent internet access,
so it coud, take him quite a while to respond.
Maybe the new version of swftools has broken the Cygwin complile, maybe the
new Cygwin, either dll and/or emulation layer, has broken the swftool compile?
Seeing as I don't use Cygwin, I for one, am unable to asit you. ;o)
Any reason why you can't survive meantime, with the current Windows compile,
http://www.swftools.org/swftools-0.9.0.exe
which presumably does not suffer from this issue, or else ( cross ) compile by
with something other than Cygwin? There are several good choices
