I guess that the example should be similar to this:

        myColor = new Color(color_text);
        myColor.setRGB(0xFF0000);
        color_text="red";

Text content is set to red, but text color isn't set to 0xFF0000 
(http://ousia.justfree.com/colors.swf).

Could you show me the example, Chris?
