[Swftools-common] Hyperlink not working in flash-9 container (written in actionscript 3)

I am having problem while loading swfs generated from pdf2swf. It
loads fine, but URL hyperlinks are not working.

scenario 1:
container is present on local system and swf file (generated from
pdf2swf) on the network. It loads fine. But while clicking the
hyperlink it opens up a pop-up but in flash IDE it throws a run time
security violation error. (acceptable as link works)

scenario 2:
container, too, is on the network. loads fine but clicking on
hyperlink doesn't show any magic and doesn't throw any error on debug
flash player.

Any help would be appreciated.
