Hi I tried doing that, I gave full rights
for pdf2swf.exe and all the exes present in that particular folder but it did
not work.
I also checked the server logs and they
don’t show any errors. The exe simply doesn’t execute, I mean it does
not start at all. It’s not that it starts and then fires an exception.
I had similar issues with Excel and sorted
out by configuring the DCOM settings for Excel but not sure what DCOM settings
should I do for PDF.

Unable to run the Pdf2Swf through a web service on windows 2003
Hi!
Check the server's permissions to access and run that .exe. Also, check the
server's log and see what error does it report when you try to use that web
service...

The Pdf2Swf.exe never executes. The call is made to the exe but the exe
never initializes. It's never listed in the task manager as well.
I have a web service which gets a request to convert the PDF to Swf. When
the request is received, the web service calls the pdf2swf.exe with the PDF
filename as the parameter.
This works perfectly on my development machine (Win XP), but the call never
gets executed in case of my server (Win 2K3).

Could you be more specific, concerning what exactly fails?
Is this the same problem that Jon reported?
Greetings
