I have been playing around with the pdf2swf converter. Sweet stuff! :o)
However, I've been wondering if you use somekind of 'best match' tool
for font substitution? In all my experiments the tools replaces
'unknown' fonts with Times-Roman, which is not always the best choice.
I've also done some digging around in FlashPaper2, since they seem to
'hit' better font for non-embeds. Discovered that they always use Adobe
MM. (multiple master?)
I'm really not much of a font guy. From what I have been able to dig up
there's a lot of different formats etc. Infact a simple thing like
fonts seems non-trivial when you look into the subject ;) Anyhow, I was
just wondering about the font translation, and logics lies behind it...
