Hi - i've been trawling through the lists and i've found this to have come up several times, but i didn't see an explanation or a solution to it. Trying to convert any avi to swf with avi2swf

without -v i just get
<CImage> : Cannot convert non-YUV image to BGR24

with the -v i also get
Warning: converthing from bpp 1 to bpp 3, this fails on older avifile versions...

versions:

address@hidden:~$ avi2swf -V
avi2swf-ng - part of swftools 0.5.0
address@hidden:~$ avifile-config --version
0.7.38
address@hidden:~$

this is the latest version of avifile for debian unstable

this is the start of a sample swfdump on the file produced (just a few seconds of film):

Would love to see this rather fantastic tool do its job so if there is anything more i can send you to help solve this please let me know.

If you could cc me in any replies i'd appreciate it as i'm not subscribed to the list

Thanks
