Looks like your downloaded file is corrupted.  Why don't we try to find 
out what went wrong there, because if you want ot build swarm on RH 9, 
then you will have to 1) get a new gcc and 2) make sure your development 
envioronment is correct.

So if you download my RPM file, what do you get with

rpm -qilp swarm-2.*rpm

?
